Can i ask the ABC for my 8cents back?

Look at who has written the ABC piece. It's done by some dumb-ass Dawkins university types in Brisbane who are mates of Lavartus Prodeo's Mark Bahnisch and have no clue about either politics or the media.

These blokes are obsessed with blogs and leap up and down with glee at the impending death of the mainstream media but don't seem to notice just how few hits they actually get, let alone that they are the only people who post comments on each other's sites.

They are so blog obsessed that they have missed the key fact in all of this: Landeryou only CLAIMS to have broken the story. Most of what Landeryou says is either a lie or self serving propaganda. Why should this be different?

These jokers are so keen on talking up blogs that they do not realise that they have just given an enormous boost to the credibility of a blog that that completely undermines the credibility of blogging and bloggers.

Three bright, bright boys, Jason Wilson, Axel Bruns and Barry Saunders!

The Blog of Sleaze "gleefully muckraking"? Most informed observers would consider it "vindictively, maliciously and deliberately dishonest".

How about trying on "the sad, bitter and twisted blog of serial failure Andrew Landeryou" for size?

Hopefully the ABC will provide Slanderyou with a right of reply!

Latte Lefties for Landeryou!

Can we please have a reality check here people. Landershonk and the morons who think blogs are about to take over the world keep on talking up the role of his sleazy site in the whole affair.

Go through the coverage though and you will see that Landershonk has had just one namecheck. One. A week ago.

The story has been analysed and analysed and analysed and it is crystal clear that no one reputable thinks Landershonk has played a prominent role in the whole affair.

Libs sack traitors over Baillieu mud

James Campbell

THE VICTORIAN Liberals are in meltdown after the sacking of two staff for contributing to a website attacking leader Ted Baillieu.
Victoria's federal campaign manager Simon Morgan and campaign officer John Osborn were dismissed on April 14 for contributing to the site hewhostandsfornothing
.blogspot.com.

The site criticised Mr Baillieu's abilities and called for his replacement. The party issued a statement yesterday, after it became aware that the Sunday Herald Sun and political commentator and blogger Andrew Landeryou had information on the drastic sackings.

Mr Morgan and Mr Osborn's employment was terminated because of ``gross misconduct prejudicial to the interests of the party'', the party said.

Last night Mr Osborn -- who had been running the website from the party's 104 Exhibition St headquarters -- said: ``I regret any embarrassment to the Liberal Party.''

But Mr Osborn did not retreat from the site's attacks on Mr Baillieu, saying he needed to go.

State director Julian Sheezel, who announced the sackings, yesterday said he acted immediately after he became aware of the criticism on the website.

``Anybody suggesting I had any knowledge of anybody behind the website or contributing to the website is lying,'' he said.

Mr Morgan and Mr Osborn had admitted to being ``active contributors'' to the blog, which sought to undermine Mr Baillieu as well as other state and federal MPs, the statement said. Concerned Liberals said the state party was ``at war''.
