Vexnews, in website ratings jargon, has got the ARSE – ‘absolute ratings shocker extinction’.
The September readership ratings for Vexnews have just been released.
The number of unique visitors to Vexnews was only 162, as compiled by independent website audience measurement provider SiteAnalyser. With September having 30 days, that represents just over 5 readers per day. Patriotic readers would recognize the five: Cat Cait, Catter 8, Henderson Ross, Shirley, and Andrew Landeryou.
The low figure indicates a catastrophic collapse in monthly readership totals for Vexnews. The figures for August were 457.
Patriots might wish to cast their minds back to May 2005, when Patriot ABC Radio presenter Jon Faine, at great risk, interrogated Andrew Landeryou.
Patriots are reminded of Stephen Mayne’s in-depth coverage of the interview, which an independent media analyst described as Faine shooting fish in a barrel.

Landeryou slugs it out with Jon Faine

“ABC Victoria’s Jon Faine took a risk this morning and invited fallen ALP powerbroker and failed businessman Andrew Landeryou into the studio for a vigorous 15-minute live exchange before an audience of almost 200,000. Faine was certainly a little apprehensive about defamation and Landeryou did manage to plug his blog and land a few blows on Solly Lew, Melbourne Uni Student Union (MUSU) liquidator Dean McVeigh, The Age’s Leonie Wood and a few other players in the soap opera that is his life.
Landeryou sailed close to the wind… Faine really put him through his paces about allegedly doing a runner, failed ventures and his credibility.
Landeryou then went to Costa Rica and attempted to pick up an online gaming business that he hoped to float on the ASX in an “arbitrage” play that would raise enough funds to clear the debt to Solly (Lew) – a debt that seems to have been incurred in very curious circumstances involving threats of more embarrassing public disclosures.
Landeryou said that his business associates knew where he was but he didn’t tell his wife as there were problems in his marriage that he wouldn’t be elaborating on publicly.”
Mayne concludes his report with: “We tried to call Landeryou this morning on the mobile number displayed on the home page of his blog (0415 993 326) but we just got the theme song from the original Spiderman.
Patriots will remember that Landeryou was last seen in mid 2008 in his Spiderman suit.
Mayne made no mention of Landeryou writing as Delia Delegate for Crikey.

Vexnews, the financially cash-strapped online spivery news-free website, has become embroiled in another plagiarism controversy.
Popular and respected Australian blog, Broken Left Foot (BLF), has alerted its readership to Vexnews blatantly lifting its content thus invoking a malicious and evil breach of IP and copyright.
BLF writes: “During my google search for the Sarah henderson story, I came across this article on Vexnews with the following image. I thought the picture looked familiar, so I check this post with an image of the current Corangamite MP Darren Cheeseman. We have a match. I took the photo that Vexnews is currently using without my permission. So I ask Andrew Landeryou the following two questions? 1. Are you going to take it down ASAP and apologise? and 2. Can you spell "T-h-i-e-v-i-n-g C-u-n-t"
Vexnews is not new to proven claims of plagiarism.
In June 2007 it was conclusively proven that Vexnews’ predecessor, the Blog of Sleaze (also sometimes known as The Other Cheek) had “… posted this commentary. It includes references to Hizb ut-Tahrir, the Bankstown City Council, and a YouTube vid. Read Landeryou’s article closely. Then go to Neozionoid’s article which was published EARLIER ON THE SAME DAY. Notice any similarities? The one major stand out, among many, is that Landeryou includes every reference cited by Neozionoid, including the YouTube vid. Coincidence? It’s interesting that Landeryou would do a cut and paste of Neozionoid, who in the past has written that he doesn’t consider Landeryou’s blog to be well regarded. Perhaps that explains why and how Landeryou thought he could get away with it, thinking that the two blogs shared different audiences, and thus he would never be found out.”
Further, it was reported that in April 2007, Landeryou was at it again, with an Australian vigilant patriot reporting that: "Andrew Landeryou's rather nasty Melbourne-based, scandal-happy political blog The Other Cheek, needed to make a crude distortion of Juanita Wheeler for a story about a hotly-contested Queensland Greens preselection. So he used this photo, but didn't credit it as he should have under the Creative Commons Attribution Licence (you can use the photo as you like as far as I am concerned, but you have to credit it). Landeryou has now "struck out" twice.”
IP lawyers are altered and alarmed by Vexnews’ frequent contravention of the law. As one lawyer stated: “We’d throw the book at Landeryou, but would be the point? He’d only plagiarize that too!”

Andrew Landeryou is reportedly abusing laxatives and vomiting after meals.
The Blog of Sleaze bankrupt is battling an eating disorder, one of his personalities has allegedly revealed. A source said:
"Andy's diet consists mostly of KFC and turkey jerky washed down with Red Bull.
"He throws up after meals, both at home and at restaurants and he isn't very discreet about it."
It has also been claimed that he is taking diet pills.
A Vexnews insider revealed: "The pills are like diuretics. He has to go to the bathroom constantly. It just runs right through him. And everyone knows he still throws up when he's eaten too much. You can smell it in the bathroom."
It was previously reported he is suffering from bulimorexia, an eating disorder which sees him both starving himself and then bingeing and making himself sick.
"This cycle of consuming fatty foods then starving himself must be playing havoc with his health. Andy looks fat in all his promotional pictures, but in reality he is a mess. His skin is dull and blotchy and his hair is lank."
