Landy spending a weekend doing research. Don't make me laugh! His idea of research on Les Twentyman was to misrepresent quotes from Les's own book, 'The Les Twentyman Story'. A blind, trained chimpanzee could have done better 'research'.
He wants to prove his blog is a real news source before the Thursday showdown at Sunshine Court. On the basis of the venomous month-long hate fest on Les Twentyman, Landy is Dead Meat.

Landeryou naturally sticks up for a pair of ugly fat standover merchants from the Right with an entitlement mentality bigger than any Tory's rather than a couple of poorly paid pub workers sick of copping shit from pissed patrons.
El Gordo needs to update the Blog of Sleaze - National Library no longer see Buddha Boy's site as having "lasting cultural and research value" - hasn't archived the blog since Sept. 17 - before the Fed election.
I gather a meeting at the National Library considered the Blog of Sleaze resolved "If this... this thing was printed on paper we could at least cut it up and use it for dunny paper, but as it is only online we shouldn't waste bits and bytes".

What do I do when I get to court?
Go to the counter and tell the court staff your name so they know you are there. They can then organise the order in which cases will be heard that day. There may be a ‘call-over’. This is where all of the cases are called to see what stage they are at. If the police applied for the order on your behalf also let the police prosecutor know that you are there. If the defendant is contesting the order, your case may not be heard until the afternoon, or it may be put off to another day. Do not go too far away – you need to be able to hear your name being called when the magistrate is ready for you.
• If you already have an interim order
You may not have to go into the witness box, but the magistrate may check if the situation has changed. Tell the magistrate about any more incidents. If the defendant has not been served with the court documents yet, you may get another interim order for a few weeks.
Landy's defence on Thursday will be fascinating. He said he would have a legal team representing him (if I remember his shrill reaction to the AVO on the blog correctly). Even so, I doubt he will have found counsel who would dare to confront Mrs Twentyman in public. She's the one with the interim AVO.
Landy's defence appears to be that the Blog of Hate is a legitimate news source (because he 'breaks' news stories there). But he has no current AJA membership or Press Id card. He is, therefore, not a journo. He is a political blogger, a shag on a rock, an ordinary Joe.
The stalking that led to the AVO was a stupid act. By publishing details of where they lived and a photo of the home on his blog, he exposed the Twentymans to various obvious dangers. He did the same thing to a lady involved in the G20demo in Melbourne earlier. He is thus a serial offender. This is not about free speech, as Landy keeps on trying to claim, it is about how he misuses his Blog to bully, misrepresent and defame people he doesn't like.
I'm hoping, if Landy fronts, that Twentyman barrister Diana Piekusis fries him slowly over a very high flame. She is increasingly a police prosecutrix these days. Landy's past performances in court show he relies on obfuscation, 'privilege', vanished evidence, political speeches, memory problems, and so on and so forth. In this case, the evidence is all there. He did stalk the Twentyman home, publish their address and a photo of their home. For a whole month, he ran a rabid hate blog against Les Twentyman. That wasn't journalism. It was Hate. No wonder Mrs Twentyman is terrified.
