WHAT IS VEXNEWS ABOUT?

(This will be are only post this week Patriots).

TS has cast a critical eye over Landeryou’s new online spivery, Vexnews.com. In somewhat of a surprising move the unemployed luxury apartment residing (in his Fat Cave) bankrupt and full time failure has appeared to have discarded his Blog of Sleaze for Vexnews which was last valued at $63.

At least he is getting some sort of support from a blogger in the Ukraine!

On further investigation, we came across this page (text below) buried deep in the Vexnews site, highlighting the anomalous philosophy of Vexnews.

And what an interesting read the page is. We have provided the text below, with our questions to Andy in CAPITALS.

We love FOX NEWS, even when we don’t agree with it. (WHO IS ‘WE’ ANDY? ARE YOU INCLUDING JOE KLEIN, CAIT CATT ETC?) This news service is our homage to its inspiration. (PLAGIARISM IS A BETTER TERM)

We’re (WHO IS ‘WE’ ANDY?) VEX because vex means to annoy people (JOB DONE LANDERYOU) and that’s precisely what we’ll (WHO IS ‘WE’ ANDY?) be doing when we’re (WHO IS ‘WE’ ANDY?) doing our job (YOU/WE HAVE A JOB ANDY?). Speaking truth to power. (WHAT TRUTH?) Afflicting the comfortable. (YOU ARE VERY AFFLICTING LANDERYOU!) Comforting the afflicted. (HOW EXACTLY ANDY, BY FIRST PAYING BACK YOUR CREDITORS PERHAPS?)

VEX also means debating, provoking, confronting, arguing and irking and we’ll be doing plenty of that too. (AND YOU FORGOT TO ADD “CENSORING”)

This is what journalism should be. (BUT YOU ARE NOT A JOURNALIST ANDY!) Indeed for most of our (OUR? WHO IS “OUR”) history it has been except for its modern odious iteration when it pretended to be something it wasn’t: infallible, uninfluenced by cultural bias, pure and omniscient. It’s never been any of those things.

With lefty dominated newsrooms being slashed and burned across the world, we understand the dimension of our responsibility. (THIS IS ILLOGICAL) We are nothing less than the future of news. (BIG CALL THERE ANDY!) Not on our own of course. Our voice should be just part of the beautiful cacophony. But we will be heard. (YES, IN COURT!)

VEXNEWS is ‘free’ because we cherish freedom. (FREE? BECAUSE YOU COULDN’T SELL IT? BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO READERSHIP, NO AUDIENCE?) Freedom from the fundamentalisms of our time, from the Islamists to the extreme Greenists and all those in between (IN BETWEEN? SOUNDS LIKE 99.99% OF THE POPULATION) who struggle to understand that the vast majority of people just want to live their lives with a minimum of unnecessary meddling from others. (SO WHY DO YOU MEDDLE IN OTHER PEOPLE’S LIVES?)

We’re free because this web service is priceless. (PRICELESS! YOU MEAN VALUELESS)

Free for all because our approach is rigorous, courageous and at times perhaps reminiscent of televised wrestling matches(YOU MEAN FAKED!) (we prefer caged style) (LIKE KFC CHICKEN?).

Dictionary.com says ‘free for all’ means:

1. a fight, argument, contest, etc., open to everyone and usually without rules.
2. any competition or contested situation that is disordered, impulsive, or out of control: a free-for-all at the buffet table.
3. Informal. any enterprise or field of endeavor in which various companies, countries, participants, etc., compete without restriction: a price-cutting free-for-all among local stores. –adjective
4. open to everyone.

And that’s precisely what we’ll (WHO IS ‘WE’ ANDY?) be.”

Patrots are reminded of our story in February when we discovered whether Landeryou had registered the domain name andrewlanderyou.com.

And not to our surprise, he had, or rather someone had.

We trolled a little deeper and we found a number of curious details.

The registrant of the domain name is:

Nassau, BS

Nassau is a lovely place, from everything we’ve heard. Curiously, it is very close to unregulated online gaming spivery hotspot Costa Rica, where Landeryou has spent considerable time.

Then we discovered that wanfuchina.com have been up to no good: caught red handed initiating unsolicited and internet threatening browser pop-up ads and spam.

The internet police, the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center, has since become involved. The WIPO Administrative Panel on October 30, 2007 threw the ‘virtual’ book at Wanfunchina.

What is additionally interesting is that Wanfunchina has registered a domain name EBET888-COM-DOM. It is only conjecture, but doesn’t EBet sound like something to do with gambling? Online gaming spivery to be exact! Coincidence?

“Landeryou is advertising a sleazy Russian bride come escort service from his blog.

I was on the comments section at 1:30 pm Sunday and found an ad for the "Anastasia" service.

I visited the site. It says "Chose your bride from thousands of Beautiful Russian Girls" but then goes on to call itself a "Quality international dating service".

So what is it? Russian brides?

Whatever the case, it's sleazy, even by Landeryou standards.

Here's hoping you can publicise it, Team Slanderyou!

TS readers are reminded that Landeryou runs a bankrupt blog, and has previously attempted to advertise all kinds of notorious ‘loneliness easing’ schemes.

He is after all the Lonely Liberal Party Blogger.

Suspected sock puppets

After the week where Patriots expressed their sorrow about Andrew Landeryou, we end the week with a story about suspected sock puppets.

"This user is also responsible for deleting a bot message from Melbcity's talk page concerning an image of Kiev (see http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Melbcity&diff=prev&oldid=184448364). Melbcity's writing shows exactly the same characteristic spelling errors and aggressive style towards other editors as UkraineToday, and again the twin tie-ins to Melbourne, Australia and Ukraine; could this be another of his sock puppets? More - compare the edits in Andrew Landeryou (of Melbourne) by MelbCity on 11/02/2006 http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Andrew_Landeryou&diff=39201304&oldid=35862896 and by 193.243.156.191 the next day http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Andrew_Landeryou&diff=39319008&oldid=39318840 - they are identical. I'm not saying for certain that 193.243.156.191 and 193.243.156.214 are one and the same, but they have the same narrow contribs interest - Ukrainian politics and Melbourne, and 193.243.156.191 also cites the dubious http://melbournecitycouncil.blogspot.com (looks to me very much like a plug by a vested interest).

The same names - UkraineToday and Ukraine 200x crop up in two Ukrainian news sites, currently in forum.pravda.com.ua/ and in the past in en.for-ua.com/forum/. He has been banned from the latter several times and has used many different user names to evade the bans (exactly the same behaviour as I'm seeing here). Both publications have histories of allegations that he is Anthony van Der Craats, author of melbournecitycouncil.blogspot.com, which makes his citations of this blog self-publicity.

It seems that 193.243.156.214 is just the latest of several manifestations of blocked user UkraineToday. The behaviour is remarkably similar, as is the dual theme - Ukraine and Melbourne. You could say the same of non-current users 81.17.128.174, Ukraine2006, 193.243.156.191, and 217.12.205.67 and Melbcity. All the IP addresses relate to ISPs in Kharkov, Ukraine. If these aren't all the same person then that town must be breeding people with very specific interests in Melbourne.

Of these alter egos, Ukraine2006 and Melbcity appear to have been used in good faith before UkraineToday was blocked, and while they highlight multiple identities I see no evidence of malicious intent. I mention them here only because they form part of the bigger picture encompassing the external evidence below. Similarly 193.109.100.247 appears to have been used only in good faith before UkraineToday was blocked but should be considered as a potential future sockpuppet IP. The same could be said of 193.243.156.191 had it not been used to add a self-publicising link. 217.12.205.67 was used to self-publicise another of his blogs, Ukrainetoday.blogspot.com; the user account was subsequently blocked for this and other and for extreme bias(see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:217.12.205.67). 81.17.128.174 was blocked as a sockpuppet of UkraineToday in September 2007.

Some of this is speculation on my part but the admins could quickly confirm whether Melbcity's IP comes from Melbourne or Kharkov, and whether Ukraine2006 and UkraineToday share IP with any of those I listed here as being behaviourally similar."

The "Vanishing Landeryou" seems to have been found. Still no explanation of where he has been. Everyone remains baffled. Speculation is that Landeryou and Corey Delaney are somehow jointly involved in something.

After no satisfactory explanation, Tim asks Andy: "Are you in gaol?" Be quick to view the comment, as Landeryou will have it deleted as soon as he reads this blog.

Andrew Landeryou has not been seen on his Blog of Sleaze since Monday.

Over to you Patriots: where is he? Patriots have already started to provide their constructive suggestions.

Federal Court continues anal-probe of Landeryou & other KFC nuggets

Last Friday, Andrew Landeryou was subject to his now regular anal-probe appointment with the Federal Court.

Numerous sightings and coverage of the events were reported by patriots.

Meanwhile in other unsavoury developments:

• Landeryou is overjoyed that terrorist state, Syria, has enabled KFC to operate in that country. Landeryou is doubly delighted because of his fondness for the deformed chicken speciality, and his own terrorist links.

• Landeryou is closely monitoring the US story involving soggy cookies and cakes, as a trio of inmates is suing an Illinois sheriff for $2 million, claiming their rights have been violated by the provision of lousy baked goods. When Landeryou was last in prison, he actually put on weight.

• Landeryou makes the news in The Ukraine. What is it with Landeryou’s fascination with exotic countries such as The Ukraine and Costa Rica – lack of extradition treaties?

• Landeryou comments on Macquarie Bank. Since October 2007, Macquarie has lost nearly a 1/3 of its share price. Losing shareholders money is something Landeryou knows how to do, very well.

• Landeryou accuses a real journalist of stalking. Landeryou should know.

• Meanwhile, another blogger says of Landeryou: “Resident right-wing nutter, Andrew Landeryou has a swag of blather in his usual shotgun style.”

2008 looks a lot like 2007, and 2006 for that matter!
