What a year it has been. A very successful year for TS:

All the best and spare a thought for Andrew Landeryou who will only have for company his festive Xmas backyard KFC bucket. He may even lash out on a Zinger burger with extra pineapple.

To Andrew. Without you this ‘blog of truth’ would obviously not exist. But then again, our blog shouldn’t exist. It’s people like you (political Daleks if you will) that have given politics a bad taste. Rather sad really. May be, between bites on your KFC nuggets, you’ll use this time to think about your life, realising it’s not too late to turn it around.

THROWN out of his Southbank high-rise after the cockroaches complained, and now embedded in the People's Socialist Republic of Brunswick, loony blogger Andrew Landeryou seems to have let his housekeeping lapse. Addled Andy's name still appears on the latest roll for the electorate covering Wardlow, the Parkville mansion that was seized and sold in July 2005 by irked creditor Solly Lew. This raises the question: how did Landeryou vote in last year's state poll and how will this little tosser exercise his democratic fright at the federal election? WHEN it comes to developing super-charged networks of thousands of adoring fans on Facebook, most of the region's pollies are yet to plug in their computers.

With online innovators like Barack Obama and Kevin Rudd jumping onboard the online social network craze, only Corangamite MP Darren Cheeseman and Geelong councillor David Saunderson have joined the site locally.

Mr Cheeseman, the first labor MP for Corangamite since 1931, has 175 friends on his site.

These include NSW Premier Morris Iemma and fellow MPs Robert McClelland, Kelvin
Thomson, Bob McMullan, Brendan O'Connor, Tanya Plibersek and Lindsay Tanner.

The 31-year-old made a point of emphasising the launch of his site during the election to underscore the poor broadband available in the seat.

``The online world is another way of campaigning which is being embraced by most major parties, unfortunately in Corangamite the broadband is so appalling that not everyone can get online and have a look,'' he said at the time.

Cr Saunderson, a staunch member of the ALP right, also counts Labor notables among his friends, including Kelvin Thomson, Andre Haermeyer and Don Nardella.

The Cowie Ward councillor also lists notorious internet blogger Andrew Landeryou as a friend.

The federal MP for Corio Richard Marles does not have a site, although his name is mentioned in the `Kevin 07-Jobs for the Boys' site, which lists its contact as the Nationals website.

Anonymous said...: A lawyer friend told me that Buddha Boy bought the Family Feast tub in and refused to stop eating even after he was ordered to stop, so the judge gave him 24 hours in the cells for contempt. He also had the KFC Mega Variety Pack featuring 6 Crispy Strips, 6 Original Recipe chicken pieces, 1 Maxi Popcorn Chicken, 6 Kentucky Nuggets, 2 Large Chips and a 1.25L drink, and at least three 21 Piece tubs of original KFC.

Anonymous said...: I work for the Director of Public Prosecution so cannot give my name, but the actual situation in court was far, far more offensive than your correspondents have outlined.

The accused, Landeryou, found it difficult to fit through the doors of the courtroom. He loudly and repeatedly declared as court officials attempted to squeeze him through using first talcum powder and then baby oil that this clearly meant that confinement in any cell in the state’s penal or remand system would constitute a breach of his human rights under Victoria’s new charter laws.

When Landeryou was finally eased into the courtroom, it was discovered that the dock could not accommodate his bulk. He was, however, just able to fit into the box that usually seats 12 jurors.

As soon as Landeryou was seated, he began to loudly denounce the court proceedings, alleging that he enjoyed political protection at the highest levels.

He told the presiding judge that an “enabling act” would be passed at the Rudd Government’s first sitting exempting him from all legal action. He said his good friend Richard Marles had already been provided with the draft of the bill. He stated that it carried the strong endorsement of the ALP’s Centre Unity faction, and that Senator Hon Stephen Conroy had already raised the matter in Cabinet.

Landeryou was accompanied by at least 100 packing cases. These were originally thought to contain legal documents but when proceedings commenced and they were opened, consisted of nothing but items from the KFC menu. Landeryou ate from these voraciously, finishing the lot within 20 minutes of the hearing opening.

Landeryou then produced a mobile phone and, despite the protestations of the judge, frequently used it throughout proceedings. This seemed to initiate a constant stream of pizza and rib delivery people into the court.

Despite further protestations from the judge and odours suggesting to the contrary (and the accused’s habit of immediately swallowing all that was delivered to him, accompanied by loud belching) Landeryou insisted these intruders were “junior counsel” providing him with vital documents.

Even though I understand Landeryou is a bankrupt, he was observed handing these individuals, who appeared at intervals of less than five minutes, $100 bills and telling them to keep the change.

After six hours of proceeding and some 85 deliveries of documents, His Honour finally cited Landeryou for contempt and sent him to the cells for 24 hours.

It was found that, as the criminal Landeryou had claimed, no cell in the state could indeed accommodate him. Instead, he was kept under armed guard in a quarantine paddock near Flemington Racecourse.; Saturday, January 12, 2008 1:24:00 AM

Anyway its a good tale about the cattery. That's just a red herring. The real story is the attempt to preselect a Landeryou-Marles mate at the expense of Trezise. As the sock puppet Russell says:

If Michael is even half as good as his father at financial management he will put the economy of this state back in a good position, and he can write too. Read the advertisement today in the Geelong Addy real estate section, where Mr De Stefano (Michael that is)is selling the Lara Cattery. We wonder if that's the cattery where some contributors to certain blogs hail from? Michael is a rep for Gartland Real Estate, who specialise in commercial sales and leasing at 59 Gheringhap Street, Geelong. The Lara Cattery Business and Residence is at 90 Coonawarra Drive, and remember Lara is where our vote is highest in all the Geelong polling booths. The cattery has these features:

MORE than 100 dogs have been seized from a boarding and breeding kennel after the

RSPCA found the animals in "appalling" conditions.

RSPCA inspectors and police raided Waterford Boarding Kennels and Cattery, just south of Brisbane, on Wednesday.

Dogs on the property – including pure-bred poodles, labrador pups and a pomeranian – were in filthy enclosures with matted faeces and urine in their fur and maggots in their orifices.

RSPCA veterinarian Anne Covill said the living conditions were "abysmal", with many dogs suffering skin inflammations and riddled with worms.

"Internal parasites are another issue but it is too early to tell how bad it will be," Dr Covill said. "It's the worst condition I have seen in such large numbers."

The Sunday Mail was present when the RSPCA and police launched their raid armed with a warrant to enter the property.

Mrs Robertson initially refused to allow the inspectors into her house and yelled that negligence claims were "vexatious" and "false".

She relented after being warned her door was about to be kicked down and she could be arrested for failing to comply with the warrant.

Mrs Robertson, who maintained the dogs were well-fed and seen to regularly by a veterinarian, admitted looking after the dogs was hard work on her own.

"I agree it's too much for me," Mrs Robertson allegedly said to inspectors.

RSPCA veterinarians vaccinated and groomed the dogs and will now monitor the animals for any signs of the canine parvovirus.

Inspectors are considering charging Mrs Robertson with breach of duty of care, which carries a maximum $22,500 fine or 12 months' imprisonment.

A record number of complaints has swamped the association so far this year, with RSPCA officers called to investigate more than 40 cases a day.

RSPCA spokesman Michael Beatty said inspectors had received 441 complaints of animal cruelty or breach of duty of care since January 1 in Queensland.

Mr Beatty said the number of calls to the Queensland RSPCA call centre had risen dramatically, due in part to the popularity of television show RSPCA Animal Rescue.

"Before the show aired we were receiving between 9000 and 11,000 calls per month to our call centre," Mr Beatty said. "Since the show aired, our call centre has received about 20,000 calls per month.

"We just wish we had the staff to keep up."

The 101 dogs seized from the Waterford property included six being boarded there by their owners, who were being contacted by the RSPCA. Eight of the dogs had been bought and were to be sent overseas.

Pure-bred poodles sell for between $850 and $3000.

Geraldine Fooi Fong Robertson, 62, is registered with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission as the owner of the "breeding and grooming" business.

A sign at the front of the 2ha property also advertises services including clipping and grooming.

But Beaudesert Shire Council said Mrs Robertson did not hold a valid boarding kennel licence and had been given no environmental authority to conduct such a business in the shire.

In 2007, 15 boarding kennels, 332 pet shops, 22 tourist attractions and eight circuses were investigated following complaints made by the public.; Monday, January 14, 2008 2:05:00 AM

On review it was found that their company, People Centred Economic Development, had no assets, no registered offices in Ukraine and (Which is required under Ukrainian Corporate law) and no verifiable business success or independent verifiable referees. Mr Hallman's registered company in the UK was deregistered in 2005 following the UK governments refusal to admit Mr Hallman (A US Citizen) into the country. All comments and referrals available on the internet pointed back to published information on their own web site.

What's more Mr Mowatt and Mr Hallman made specious and unfounded allegations and assertions that the Ukrainian Authorities have been engaged in a deliberate policy of genocide and mass murder of unwanted children in Ukraine, referring to Ukrainian Orphanages as being "Death Camps for Children" When asked to provide evidence to substantiate their allegations, which they claimed they had in their possession and said they would produce, they failed to do so.

The allegations made by Mr Mowatt and Mr Hallman were reckless and irresponsible to say the least. Mr Hallman and Mr Mowatt's sensational allegations of Death Camps for children have not been supported by one accredited international welfare agency.

Mr Hallman is a self appointed vigilante Civil Rights/political activist residing in Ukraine.

Further Investigation has indicated that Mr Mowatt and Mr Hallman were engaged in self-promotion, pumping the internet, in order to promote their dubious "economic development" scheme which would have seen limited public and private resources funnelled into establishing a WiMAx Internet service provider costing 1.5 billion dollars which they claimed would generate millions of dollars of profit which would then be used in part to fund Ukrainian Orphanages. Effectively operating as a NGO, defacto charity, whilst seeking to avoid the regulations and laws that normally govern charitable organisations.

Part of the due diligence review involved contacting US Aid that Mr Hallman and Mr Mowatt claimed supported their business activities. US Aid responded to our inquiries in a letter indicating that they had no knowledge of Mr Hallman. Mr Mowatt or their company, People Centred Economic Development (PCED).

Not one of the claimed success published on their Internet site could be independently verified.

I reply to the above comment by Mr Jeff Mowatt from the UK.

In reviewing your web site it would appear from reading Mr Mowatt's comments above that he is using your site and others to promote a vendetta and is engaged in a stalking campaign against his detractors.

Mr Mowatt and his business associate Mr terry Hallman was subject to a due diligence review of their business activities in Ukraine. Both Mr Mowatt and Mr Hallman presented themselves as being directors of a successful International Economic Development Company operating out of Ukraine. Mr Mowatt ad Mr Hallman have been working in Ukraine since 2002. On review it was found that their company. people Centred Economic Development, had no asserts, no registered offices in Ukraine and no verifiable business success (Which is required under Ukrainian Corporate law) or independent referees. Mr Hallman registered company i the UK was deregistered i 2005 following the UK governments refusal to admit Mr Hallman (A US Citizen) into the country. All comments and referrals available on the internet pointed back to published information on their own web site.

What's more Mr Mowat and Mr Hallman made specious and unfounded allegation and assertions that the Ukrainian Authorities have been engaged in a deliberate policy of genocide and mass murder of unwanted children in Ukraine, referring to Ukrainian Orphanages as being "Death camps for Children" When asked to provide evidence to substanciate their allegations, which they claimed they had in their possession and said they would produce, they failed to do so.

The allegations made by Mr Mowat and Mr Hallman were reckless and irresponsible to say the least. Mr Hallman and Mr Mowatt's allegations of death Campos for children have not been supported by one accredited international welfare agency.

Mr Hallman, Mr Mowatt's business partner, is a self appointed violate Civil Rights/political activist residing in Ukraine.

Further Investigation has indicated that Mr Mowat and Mr Hallman were engaged in self-promotion, pumping the internet, in order to promote their specious "economic development" scheme which would have seen limited pubic and private resources funneled into establishing a WiMAx Internet service provider costing 1.5 billion dollars which they claimed would generate millions of dollars of profit which would then be used in part to Fund Ukrainian Orphanages effectively operating as a NGO, defacto charity without seeking to avoid the regulations and laws that normally govern charitable organisations.

Part of the due diligence review involved contacting US Aid who Mr Hallman and Mr Mowat claimed had supported their proposal. US Aid responded to our inquiries in a letter indicating that they had no knowledge of Mr Hallman. Mr Mowat or their company People Centered Economic Development corporation.

Mr Mowat was asked o more the one occasion to respond and provide information in relation to his company activities. information that should be readily available. Mr Hallman ad Mr Mowat declined to provide a response instead Mr Mowat has embarked on a campaign of harassment and stalking of his critics (Including the comment above).

Independent reviews of Mr Hallman and Mr Mowatt's claims of business success ad activities i Ukraine have come to the same conclusion as those published on the Internet (http://p-ced.blogspot.com)
