The Age reports: A "greedy" University of Queensland student who helped strip more than $1 million from Brisbane city parking meters, used her share of the money to buy clothes.
Former All Hallows schoolgirl Tea Strekozov, 21, this morning pleaded guilty in Brisbane Magistrates Court to her part in the theft of an estimated $1.1 million in $1 and $2 coins from Brisbane City Council parking meters.
Bosnian-born Strekozov admitted to being a lookout for her then-boyfriend, Witold Skorka, as he used a specially-made key to open locked parking meters under the cover of darkness between September 2008 and March 2009.
