Yesterday marked one of the most turbulent trading days in the equities markets since 9/11.
We wondered how Landeryou's portfolio of prestigious blue chips performed.

The Chinese are bringing down our market. What is happening?
Please can we hear from someone with a bit of decent analysis?
Even Landeryou.
Does Landeryou have shares in tobacco companies that are being supported by Sophie Panopoulos (Mirabella), the member for Indi? Why does Landeryou praise her so profusely? Below is a sample:
Labor MPs have unwittingly revealed the outrageous nature of House Speaker Hawker's ejection of future Liberal Leader Sophie Mirabella from Parliament this week.
Anthony Albanese, the Manager of Opposition Business confirmed "If you’re a Government MP, you’ve got to try really hard to be kicked out."
"This year 17 Labor members have been kicked out already, and Mrs Mirabella is the first from the Government."
Indeed, she is only the sixth Government MP ejected since the 2004 poll.
This certainly brings into suspicion the non-smoking Speaker's move. Is he engaged in discrimination against smokers and those who support tobacco industries through donation receipt?
We fear this is the case and believe many Australians will be concerned at his lack of impartiality and probity on these matters.
Mirabella ejection a rarity
By ANTHONY BUNN
Member for Indi Sophie Mirabella became just the sixth Government MP to be ejected from Federal Parliament since the 2004 election when she was booted out of the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
In the same period, 163 Opposition politicians have been banned from Parliament for an hour under standing order 94(a), the Speaker’s office said yesterday.
Mrs Mirabella became the first woman Coalition MP to be ordered out of the House in this parliamentary term.
She also notched up another first, according to the manager of opposition business, Labor MP Anthony Albanese.
"If you’re a Government MP, you’ve got to try really hard to be kicked out," Mr Albanese said.
"This year 17 Labor members have been kicked out already, and Mrs Mirabella is the first from the Government." (OC: Sophie is always a pace-setter)
Mrs Mirabella was told to leave Parliament by Speaker David Hawker on Tuesday afternoon after defending herself against a Labor critique tied to a support group, the Friends of Indi, receiving a $15,000 donation from British American Tobacco.
Mrs Mirabella did not respond to The Border Mail yesterday, but her friend and Liberal colleague Bronwyn Bishop defended her in Parliament on Tuesday night by turning the attack back on Labor MP Brendan O’Connor, who questioned the donation and linked it to the tobacco industry buyout in the North East.
Mrs Bishop said Mr O’Connor had been the assistant national secretary of the Australian Services Union from 1993 to 2001.
This was a period in which she said, it was involved in undeclared donations to Labor.
“During 1998 to 2001, that same union, using three related entities, but still the Australian Services Union, donated $240,000 to the Labor Party,” Mrs Bishop told Parliament.
“Only for one year, the year of 1999-2000, did he bother to put in his return that they had in fact donated $12,000, when the ALP’s own return showed that in that year they had donated $75,000 — a discrepancy of $63,000.
“The little-known member for Gorton — though he is a well-known trade unionist — talked about $15,000 as a hefty donation. Well, what the hell do you call $240,000?”
Labor MP Michael Danby told Parliament the Government’s appointment of Mrs Mirabella to the Joint Standing Committee on Electoral Matters “made the poacher the gamekeeper”.
“Personally, I like the member for Indi,” he said.
“But until such time as the member properly accounts for her conduct, a cloud of controversy will surround her appointment as chair of the committee with responsibility for the oversight of electoral matters.”
I heard a rumour tonight the stock market is down because of Cait Catt. It seems Cait is short selling all her stocks, and the market as a result is going into a nosedive.
My mother said catts have no brains. Seems Cait is a real catt!
Another cause for concern is the statement by Landeryou just published on his blog that Brian Burke, the esteemed WA Premier, may not be perfect. This is code for not nice. Brian Burke was the best Premier WA ever had. He looked after people and the WA economy skyrocketed as a result. Landeryou's qualification about Burke is likely to have a negative influence on the sharemarket.
Be positive Andy. Show your support for a great man. Brian Burke.

RANTS FOR YOU AT HOME: Rent-Seekers and Burke Bashers Should Shut Up and Die // Give Us Back Our Water and Our Freedom
WATERY GRAVE FOR SOCIALISTS
Those inclined to defend taxpayer subsidised rent-seeker water-hog cotton and rice farmers who pay a tiny fraction of true cost for the nation's scarce water supplies are getting it wrong. The whole notion of state control of water prices has got to end, the market allocates every other good and service that our economy has pretty well, so why do we need cardigan wearing water bureaucrats of agrarian socialist background to allocate the country's water? Answer: We don't. Let freedom ring. Farmers shouldn't be told what to grow, whether by Tim Blair or Bill Shorten of course or any other central planner as one of Andrew Bolt's wise commenters summed up:
Posted by Glen V on Thu 01 Mar 07 at 09:57am
Price water appropriately and the market will work out what to grow.
The left always wants to centrally plan these things, but, all things being equal, farmers will do what they can to make some money.
Perhaps expensive machinery will need to be replaced, but the long term trend for cotton in this country is inevitable.
The public owns the water. They should be able to sell it freely, with a price that varies as supply and demand fluctuates, with no special mates' rates for National Party members and no other hidden subsidies. Anything else is not only proven economic folly of the Chavez school but as a result is wasteful of water to a degree that is obscene. Peg the price below market and over-consumption is inevitable, socialists who say otherwise should go to Caracas and sip some French Perrier with the comrades.
SALT-WATER WELLS IN MY EYES
And while he's it's true that Ruddster had a less than average day today after a reasonable week, it is gravely disappointing to see so many join the witch-hunt against WA Premier Brian Burke.
In this ugly campaign of vilification against Burke we are seeing the very worst aspects of human nature, a government agency out of control using draconian powers in a scandalous and partial manner and the creation of a new standard: anyone with a criminal conviction is unable to lobby a public official of any kind. This presumably means The Age's Lawrence Money - a man convicted of the criminal offence of child endangering - is going to be banned from dealing with politicians. That would be silly I can hear you say. Of course it would. Not just silly but insidious. He's odious but entitled to carry out his profession after his conviction. There can be no question over Money's guilt, he pleaded guility. By contrast, Brian Burke - as it turned out - was convicted in highly questionable circumstances of offences relating to incorrectly claimed travel allowances, which he says was all a mistake of wrong paperwork. He ought never have been convicted and would almost certainly never have been if the political furore of WA Inc. had never occurred. He was convicted and punished. And now we see that in Australia in 2007, there is no end to this man's punishment.
And not only is he to be punished, anyone who has met with him, been in the same faction as him, helped him, worked with him, played politics with him, raised money for political campaigns with him must also be guilty.
It is not only at its core illogical - as all guilt by association games are - it is deeply, hideously immoral.
In this debate, it is now just presumed that Brian Burke is the focus of evil in the modern world. Those persecuting this man, even beyond the hysteria of the CCC, even those like the PM who arguably have a political duty to do so, should ponder the very evil of kicking and kicking and kicking a man who is down. A lobbyist who lobbied, who may have pushed the envelope at times but appears not to have acted illegally in any way is being falsely painted as a crook regardless.
Premier Alan Carpenter is probably doing what he thinks he needs to do in dismissing Ministers for dealing with Burke. I hope it is a standard he is willing to apply consistently.
The CCC schoolyard bully is going to keep doing their worst. And the rest of us look on. Some cheering. Some jeering. And too few willing to stand up and ask for some basic standards of decency. In the politics of the witch-hunt, logic and common-sense go out the door. Guilt is presumed, conspiracies assumed and - above all else - the witch must be killed by being torn limb from limb.
We built a society based on an English system of law. It's not perfect but by and large it has delivered a safe and free nation with prosperity for the vast majority. That society has certain principles and notions that underpin it like the presumption of innocence. That's been turned on its head in the CCC investigation. It's a public trial by ordeal, no lawyers, no basic legal protections for anyone who crosses its sights, all of whom, by complete coincidence, happen to be factional rivals of Left-wing Attorney-General Jim McGinty.
What's prevailing in WA now is not justice, it's Lord of the Flies meets the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. In a few years, those involved in the shameful witch-huntery of these times will look back on all of this with great shame. Because it's not just the noisy to blame in a witch-hunt, it's the silent.
They came first for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,
and by that time no one was left to speak up.
Brian Burke isn't perfect but he does not deserve this. No one - no one - does. I hope those who are hurting know this song, sing it and know that it's always true.
Game on.

Just read the article. Landeryou is positive about Burke so apologies to Andrew. You are spot on Andy. I too am a Burke admirer.
What affect would it have on the Share Market if Andrew Landeryou DID win a Walkely award?
I think my reaction would be to sell my shares! Shares in any company promotion the Walkelys. That includes Slanderyou.
Andrew Landeryou did win a Walkely Blog Award. I read it first from Cait Catt, then I saw the evidence on the web with a site listing Andrew as the inaugural winner of that award.
I think its a disgrace, but what can you do.
It appears that someone from Melbourne Ports Young Labor Unity, whom Catt Catt has been involved in branchstacking with, has got up out of bed and has posted a NO vote.
The no votes are now up to 23. Not many friends Andrew, and they are Danby's stacks, not real friends.
The sharemarket is suffering from Andrew talking it up.
Shut up Andrew. I want to collect on my super and my rollover will show negative growth if you don't shut up Andrew.
Anon. 11:06AM, please share this evidence of Landeryou winning a non-existent award.
The Walkley committee doesn't award blogs.
I wouldn't trust any posting from Cait Catt, 'cos that's just a Landeryou pseudonym like Delia Delegate or Freedom Freddy.
Where is Cait Catt?
probably "looking for lile"
who is lile anyway?
never heard of him
I want to hear from Landeryou about the price of shares.
He's totally silent on that too, except he supports the price of tobacco shares by talking up Sophie
How are you shares going Andy?
