Spot the similarity game with Andrew Landeryou: GAME 2

It’s time for another round in our popular ‘spot the similarity’ game. Game 1 is here.

On the left is guess who. On the right is Hollywood actor Wesley Snipes.

Clue: this link might provide a useful clue.

What utter nonsense Andrew writes - most children don't have airconditioning at home.

Does he suggest that the government buy airconditioners for every household with young children?

Maybe he thinks we should deal with such child neglect by removing all children from homes that don't have airconditioners and relocate them to child-care centres that do.

It's probably his own pathetic reaction to having to move out of his own airconditioned apartment and the shock of having to deal with the heat like the rest of us plebs (and our kids).

He should stop whining about what's good for children of working parents until he has both a job and some kids.

I'm not a fan of the green's ideological bandwagons but Andrew's stuff is just the elite crap of a little private school boy who has never really grown up.

Andrew is correct. Andrea Sharom, the Greens councillor from the Socialist Republic of Moreland is against air conditioning. What a luddite.

Anonymous said...

The Landeryou blog did expose Andrea Sharom, ahd the Greens are fuming about it.

Andrea is so stupid that she tried to prevent air conditioning in a Brunswick kindergarten.

Many ALP Councillors are stupid, and the Brunswick Northcote area is the Melbourne centre of ALP stupidity.

Andrea is par for the course.

Maybe Landeryou is used to his expensive aircon in his luxury apartment!

Will the landeryou drones please go back to the main hive - the queen bee needs you over there due to sad lack of posting on her site.

Anonymous said...

Speaking of drones

How old is Landeryou?

Why is he still obsessed with student politics - it's sort of scary.

Most of his friends seem a lot younger than him - doesn't he have any friends his own age?

Anonymous said...

I agree it's a bit spooky

it's all a bit peter pan

Landeryou sure has a big head!

And I don't mean arrogance, just his physical appearance.

It's almost gigantism!

Anonymous said...

Andrew doesn't have any friends his own age because he's burnt them all

His other little friends will soon find that he's left them hanging high and dry as well

How come there are no comments on Landeryou's site?

Is this because no one visits the site anymore? Very boring.

Landeryou claims he won the inaugural Walkely Blog Award but he didn't win the Crikey Blog Award.

Not in 2006. Not even in 2005. His blog wasn't even mentioned. Landeryou says that his blog is first with the latest but in this instance Slanderyou is first with the latest. Here's the latest news, straight from the Crikey email to subscribers. The 2006 Crikey Blog Award:

22. Best Blog of the Year

What a difference a year makes. In 2005 the blog landscape read like the fledgling medium it was – providing interesting reading that wasn’t so consistent. This year it was just a matter of cherry picking from a selection of blogs that are daily must-reads. Two very different blogs offer a snapshot of the lightning fast rate at which blogs have developed in 2006: Larvatus Prodeo* is brought to you by a group of people who produce one of the most thoughtful, measured and insightful political blogs in the country. At the other end of the spectrum, Tim Blair continues to stir the pot. He pi-ses people off, makes observations that others miss and publishes what others won’t (he gave the finger to the major newspapers by publishing 12 of the controversial Muhammad cartoons). The better blogs are increasingly setting the agenda and changing the pace of news, and old media is scrambling to get a slice by signing bloggers up and folding them into their existing websites (Tim Blair and Tim Dunlop of Road to Surfdom have both been signed by News Limited recently). Blogs have well and truly hit the mainstream, and these guys are the cream of the crop.

*Disclosure: Mark Bahnisch, editor of Larvatus Prodeo, writes regularly for Crikey, but that doesn’t make the blog any less deserving – Crikey was a keen reader long before we got Bahnisch on board.

Honourable mentions: The Spin Starts Here – for its irreverent, b-tchy, often rude mix of politics and pop culture, and The Road to Surfdom – for its fresh and interesting take on issues of the day.

2005 Winner: Troppo Armadillo

This is pure nepotism. The author of Larvatus Prodeo writes for Crikey. Wait until Landeryou hears about this. He'll really have a go at Stephen Mayne.

See this new static site dedicated to bringing Landeryou to justice - perhaps you could put a link up to it on your site.

Landeryou has on his site news about the DLP winning two seats in the Upper House. He's right.

Anonymous said...

I think I'd rather win a Walkley Blog Award than a Crikey (Landeryou calls it Nameless) Blog Award.

Long live the DLP.

The observer said...

Congratulations on a fine, entertaining blog.

This is no more evident than in the number of comments on Landeryou's blog having dramatically fallen, while comments on your blog have risen substantially.
