Andrew Landeryou and his cronies have been openly advertising that Landeryou’s blog of sleaze has won a Walkleys Award!
Here is the blog created by Landeryou (or closely connected associates) that allegedly has granted the award.
The blog is simply a scam.
The Trust that runs The Walkleys is the trade union that represents the fine journalistic profession, of which Landeryou claims to be a member.
The union must openly and publicly expel Landeryou if he remains a member. If he isn’t a financial member, the union must still openly and publicly name Landeryou for this vile abuse of intellectual property and enforce legal action.
At best this attempt by Landeryou to grant himself a bogus award, and using the prestigious reputation of the Award, is simply a misrepresentation and deceit.
Enough Andrew.

Not even I thought that Landeryou would stoop this low
But he constantly surprises with his paranoia and delusions
Andrew Landeryou IS the best blog on the net and WAS awarded a Walkley Blog Award. Even Rev Nalliah from Catch the Fire Ministry said so.
Praise be to Andrew. A great blogger.
Diane Anderson is very upset she wasn't even considered for the award. If Diane was an applicant how can it not be genuine?
Landeryou's delusion or his desperateness is showing if he has to create his own awards and a page promoting it. There is no Walkley blog award. The SMH's Jack Marx won a 2006 Walkley award for his feature on Russell Crowe, which was first published as a blog but there is not yet a Walkley blog award.
Even I reckon Landeryou has gone to far with this stunt!
I work at the MEA, and this news is being read very widely in the office and I can tell you that the guys running the Awards are fuming!
It seems that not only is Landeryou shutting down blogs, he is busy creating new ones too!
see http://slanderyou2.blogspot.com/2006/11/andrew-landeryou-chief-suspect-in.html here for more
Obviously, Landeryou has too much time on his (free) hand!
Why would Landeryou do this? It's so obvious that he would be identified with something like this, why even consider it let alone take the risk
Sorry, what risk?
Noone seems to care enough to do anything about it. And let's face it, it's just a blog read by a small number of people.
It's got no real impact on the 'real' world.
ANon said "It's got no real impact on the 'real' world."
true, but what about the 'impact' on truth?
'Impact' on truth? Landeryou is being more than economical with the truth. He's down right lying claiming a Walkley blog award.
Why does this blog always bag Andrew Landeryou? I think he did win an award even if you didn't.
On his blog tonight is an expose of a Greens Councillor in Moreland. A Councillor who is a friend of Diane Anderson. That's Andrew Sharom.
Andrea is so stupid that she tried to prevent air conditioning in a Brunswick kindergarten.
Many ALP Councillors are stupid, and the Brunswick Northcote area is the Melbourne centre of ALP stupidity.
Seems the Greens are now the heirs of that stupidity. The Greens would have more credibility if they refrained from endorsing Council candidates. Then Landeryou wouldn't have the credibility he has when he exposes them.
Andrea is fab
to 1:20:00 PM, the guys running the Awards are fuming - fantastic stuff
good to hear
How can you pretend Landeryou has any credibility? Trying as hard as he could his business went belly up "leaving no books, no records and no trace of (Solomon) Lew's $4 million investment." He fled the country before he was due to appear at an examination in the Victorian Supreme Court over the collapse of the Melbourne University Student Union. His political career at the student union ended in allegations of mismanagement and "he hid under pot plants and in the basement when he was finally sacked." Now he has to create a fake award to big note himself. Credibility? I scoff at the suggestion.
Anon Tuesday, December 12, 2006 4:07:24 PM has said it perfectly
We understand Scott Crawford has made a visit to the Vic. police with his solicitor. Do we know what this is about?
