We guess that Landeryou does this often.

A case in point, was 1996 when Landeryou claimed that IQ Corp was: "...one of Melbourne's largest WWW development companies. Based in the heart of the city, on the 29th floor of the Commonwealth Bank Centre, we have built a sizable client base that continues to expand."

As we know, IQ didn't expand!

WHO SCRUBBED “ANDREW LANDERYOU” OF THE TRUTH

The many members of Team Slanderyou were busy over the past week, working on a significant story.

Andrew Landeryou has long professed a hatred for Wikipedia.

At the beginning of June, Landeryou’s biography on Wikipedia was vigorously scrubbed clean of anything remotely critical of Andy.

A case in point was the deletion of the many links to serious critics of Landeryou, including this humble blog.

But it seems, the ‘scrubber’ left their indelible fingerprints all over their nefarious activity.

We are reminded of the many hundreds of people who have posted comments on Andrew Landeryou's blog of sleaze, only to have them summarily scrubbed, without explanation or for that matter application of editorial or free speech consistency.

And of course, there is also the threat of litigation that the "bankrupt" Landeryou throws about like confetti.

Landeryou's colleague "disgustingly dirty"

Andrew Landeryou can't quite keep out of the news; well, almost!

Darren Ray's (Andy's colleague from MUSU days) company Victorian Student Housing has been ordered by VCAT to pay $6700 to landlords, because clients of his rental services company left a Hawthorn house in a "disgustingly dirty" state.

No link to the Melbourne Times (which is running the story hard) was available.

Landeryou caught out again

Kim Jong Il look alike Andrew Landeryou has been embroiled in another breach of copyright controversy.

In January, Slanderyou reported that

Landeryou posted this commentary. It includes references to Hizb ut-Tahrir, the Bankstown City Council, and a YouTube vid. Read Landeryou’s article closely. Then go to Neozionoid’s article which was published EARLIER ON THE SAME DAY. Notice any similarities? The one major stand out, among many, is that Landeryou includes every reference cited by Neozionoid, including the YouTube vid. Coincidence?

It’s interesting that Landeryou would do a cut and paste of Neozionoid, who in the past has written that he doesn’t consider Landeryou’s blog to be well regarded. Perhaps that explains why and how Landeryou thought he could get away with it, thinking that the two blogs shared different audiences, and thus he would never be found out.

Team Slanderyou can now report that in April, Landeryou was at it again, with an Australian vigilent patriot reporting that:

"Andrew Landeryou's rather nasty Melbourne-based, scandal-happy political blog The Other Cheek, needed to make a crude distortion of Juanita Wheeler for a story about a hotly-contested Queensland Greens preselection. So he used this photo, but didn't credit it as he should have under the Creative Commons Attribution Licence (you can use the photo as you like as far as I am concerned, but you have to credit it). "

Landeryou has now "struck out"twice.

The lonely Liberal Party blogger

Andy Landy appears to have stopped running 'loneliness' adverts on his insolvent blog. But it still appears that the Liberal Party blogger, who has been favourably compared to Kim Jong Il, is still struggling in the blog rating stakes.

A “REAL JOURNALIST”: Describing himself as a retired company director (SL: bankrupt and sleaze blogger) in search of a new path (SL: from luxurious South Bank apartment to nearest KFC restaurant) , Andrew Landeryou writes that for a person of his reputation (SL: Andrew has a reputation?), perhaps journalism is his only option. (SL: Add Landeryou is still not a journalist)

His weekend spell (SL: too short?)in the Melbourne Assessment Prison prompted him to set up his own website ((SL: it’s a blog!), where he can safely (SL: cowardly more like) take aim at his enemies (SL: need a list the size of War and Peace).
His first blog appeared yesterday morning, under the headline, "The Truth Shall Set You Free". (SL: wrong right from the start!)

ONLINE DIARY (read by actor): The blog and a couple of nights at the big brick building (SL: call it what it was, gaol) on Spencer Street has liberated my keyboard and my big mouth (SL: except for all the KFC in it). A “REAL JOURNALIST”: He left his wife and the country the day before he was due to appear in court to explain his involvement in several companies which had signed multimillion dollar contracts with the Melbourne University Student Union. Recent former student union presidents, all young and aspiring members of the Labor Right signed the contracts, contracts which allegedly drove the Student Union into financial collapse.

In a separate case, Solomon Lew is seeking the repayment of $3 million which he invested in Landeryou's online gambling venture, IQ Corporation. (SL: but Lew only got $13K back)

WORLD EXCLUSIVE 3: Global Gaming links into Andy

The troika of World Exclusives is complete.

Team Slanderyou went to Costa Rica earlier in the year to track Andy's movements in that country.

We found that Landeryou claimed that he was in Costa Rica to pursue his online gaming spivery activities.

What was interesting about this is that he appears to have funded his time in CR exclusively from funds directly transferred into the country (from Australia perhaps?).

According to CR's very stringent work and immigration laws: "... you must either be a citizen of Costa Rica or have legal Permanent Residency. With any other residency (rentista, pensionado, etc), you CAN (sic) own a business but you can not work in that business."

So, Landeryou could not have (legally) earned income from working in CR. If he did hold down a job, he was operating illegally. Did he then go to CR to buy a business, as he claimed?

An interesting fact is that: "Costa Rica is home to more than 200 online gambling companies, but the Central American country actually has no legislation specifically dealing with gambling over the Internet."

So, why was Landeryou so keen to exploit such an unregulated gaming market?

Landeryou has been aggressively promoting his blog of sleaze’s inclusion in the National Library’s website archives for months.

In November, Team Slanderyou reported how Landeryou’s blog had infected the archives. Polling conducted by Team Slanderyou showed that 100% of patriots overwhelmingly disapproved of the inclusion of the viral blog into the archives.

Team Slanderyou’s polling proved that Landeryou’s inclusion in the archives would erode visitor numbers to the Library.

Team Slanderyou can report that owing to the popular protest movement lead by Team Slanderyou readers, Landeryou’s blog has not been updated in the archives since 30 November 2006, and looks unlikely to be updated.

So why wasn't Stephen Conroy mentioned?

Fiona Richardson's replacement of Mary Delahunty for Northcote caused all sorts of controversy last year.

But what got us thinking about this issue again was this sentence: "Ms Richardson ... has spent the past 10 years working for MPs including Julia Gillard and Gareth Evans."

All perfectly OK, until one remembers she worked for at least two years for Senator Stephen Conroy, or at least in his office. Surely, working for the Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Senate is worth mentioning?

And the link to Andrew Landeryou? Who was Crikey's anonymous tipster?
